The carving was one of the main details I was looking at when selecting the piece. We discussed the pattern and level of detailing beforehand, and the final execution was in keeping with the design. The carved elements were clean and well defined, with the finer work visible without making the piece look overly ornate. Overall, the detailing came through as I had expected.
